Careers
After graduation, you may be employed as an analyst and financial manager by banks, insurance companies and other financial and investment companies. Thanks to our unique programme, you will join the family of successful graduates from the programme. You will have no difficulties finding a job as an analyst and financial manager in banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions since you will be able to make independent decisions on the basis of professional analyses using appropriate and rigorous methods combined with IT knowledge.
Double Degree Programme
The Financial Institutions Management pathway makes it possible to join a double degree programme co-organised with the International Institute of Zittau (Internationales Hochschulinstitut Zittau) of Dresden University of Technology (Technische Universität Dresden) in Germany. In double degree programmes, graduates are awarded two diplomas (a Czech and a foreign one). This is due to the recognition of some courses in both programmes. Based on the double degree, your standing in the European and Czech market will be much better since TU Dresden is one of 12 top universities in Germany.
What does the programme include?
It is a standard Financial Institutions Management Master’s programme. In addition, you will study one semester abroad at the IHI Zittau (Erasmus+ funding may be applied for). The language of instruction is Czech; the courses studied abroad are taught in English. You may choose courses such as Responsible Management, Intercultural Communication, Research Projects in International Business, Managing the Multinational Company, International Business Law, Finance, and Applied Microeconomics. In addition, you may choose any course offered by the TU Dresden.
