What will we teach you?

Humanities provide theoretical knowledge from the human and social sciences, and you will study pedagogy, psychology, history, ethics or anthropology. During your studies, you can decide which area you want to focus on more, be it pedagogical, sociological-anthropological or historical.

What will you become?

Specialisation in pedagogical sciences will prepare you for assistance services in the field of compulsory education in general. You will gain prerequisites for the areas of pre-school education and adult education and pedagogical work with seniors.

Based on the Specialisation in Historical Sciences, you will get acquainted with the basic historical context of the 20th century. You will be prepared for study in follow-up study programmes in history and related sciences, or for the performance of a profession at the bachelor's level in the field of museology, archiving and guiding in cultural and historical monuments.

Specialisation in Sociological-anthropological Sciences will make you versed in sociological and anthropological disciplines with an emphasis on working with ethnic groups and national minorities. You will be ready to conduct basic research and research in the field of anthropology with an emphasis on visual anthropology.

What do the entrance exams involve?

Entrance exams are cancelled. Applicants are required to submit the following as an attachment to the e-application by April 20, 2021:

  • a scanned copy of the catalogue sheet (containing the results of studies from the 1st and 2nd semesters of the 3rd year and the 1st semester of the 4th year of secondary school) in pdf format.
  • Applicants who graduated from a secondary school in previous years will provide copies of the school reports of the 3rd and 4th year of secondary school in pdf format.

Full-time study

Full-time study has a fixed schedule on weekdays during mornings and/or afternoons. As a student, you will be on campus daily participating in seminars and lectures. You will have the status of student.

The aim of the study programme Resocialization Pedagogy is to equip students with special skills and knowledge for assistance and pedagogical work in resocialization and re-education facilities and institutions of various government departments. The purpose is to provide the graduate with theoretical knowledge and application skills in pedagogical disciplines in interrelated and interdisciplinary contexts in terms of practical application in specific pedagogical professions. Another goal is to develop the ability to flexibly adapt their own knowledge, experience and skills to ever-changing objective conditions and new professional requirements for teachers and social workers.
