The aim of the study in the undergraduate and follow-up postgraduate degree programme and specialisation of the same name is to prepare the graduate to be able to independently solve assigned tasks related to electromobility, i.e. electrotechnology and electrical systems in rail and road vehicles and related electrotechnical infrastructure. In addition, the student will gain a broader knowledge of the issues of transport and mechanical construction of vehicles. The graduates are then ready to solve the tasks entrusted to them in a broader interdisciplinary context using appropriate software tools and foreign languages.

This two-year, tuition-free Master of Arts (MA) programme, taught in English, is conducted in cooperation with the Centre for Ethics as Study in Human Value, an internationally renowned research centre. The programme offers full specialisation in the two main domains of practical philosophy: ethics and political philosophy. It is ideally, but not exclusively, suited for students with a BA degree in general philosophy.

They begin their studies in Pardubice, the Czech Republic, then move on to Nicosia, Cyprus, and later select either Rome, Italy, or Vilnius, Lithuania. They also have the option to choose any of the four universities for their final semester thesis. The specialisation Gender History will provide students with insight into the issues of interaction between men and women, the effects of gender on everyday life, changes in perceptions of male and female roles, and rules of conduct from the Middle Ages to contemporary history. We will focus on both the history of corporeality, and the processes and mechanisms of forming discourses of gender difference.

The postgraduate specialisation History of Literary Culture will focus primarily on the history of literature, books and reading. This will be viewed in a broader socio-cultural context.

The specialisation Cultural History is based on the current conception of cultural history, emphasising the anthropologising direction of research while taking into account mainly Central European developments in the 15th to 19th centuries.

The specialisation Cultural and Historical Studies of Slavic Countries will apply the above-mentioned historical and anthropologising approaches to a specific cultural area of selected South Slavic and West Slavic countries.

The specialisation of Cultural Heritage Conservation is focused on the area of preservation of monuments and on the closely connected discipline-related areas of the history of building culture, preservation of monuments, and art history.

The specialisation Contemporary History will provide students with an insight into the political, social and military history of the 20th century, with a focus on the history of Czechoslovakia, viewed in a broader European context.
