What will you learn?
You will learn all about sports funding and find out about sources of finance for a sports organisation, you will be able to prepare a budget, keep accounts and control them. We will teach you management skills on how to manage a team, plan and organise activities in your sports organisation. You will become familiar with the many ways of modern communication and good PR for your organisation. The curriculum also includes a lot of practical sport activities. Starting from the first year, you will take courses in which you can do sports, but also learn about preparing competitions and matches, and you will learn how to organise tournaments and sports camps. Throughout your studies, you will have the opportunity to get great practice directly in the sports organisations of your choice. Everything you learn can be tested directly in real-life situations to find out and see what really works. Your final paper will be just as practical as your study, since you will do it directly on the job.
Career
You will be an economist or a manager of a sports organisation. You can also work at higher levels of government (municipal or regional), which often fund sports organisations. Or you can choose to be a manager of an association that represents sports organisations in a given sport sector. Of course, you can also start your own business in the field of sport, or work as a consultant for organisations in designing projects in the field of sports funding.
