This two-year, tuition-free Master of Arts (MA) programme, taught in English, is conducted in cooperation with the Centre for Ethics as Study in Human Value, an internationally renowned research centre. The programme offers full specialisation in the two main domains of practical philosophy: ethics and political philosophy. It is ideally, but not exclusively, suited for students with a BA degree in general philosophy.

The applicant is a graduate of a master's degree in the field of Historical Sciences, or a master's degree in another, related field of education, if it corresponds to the intended research specialisation of the applicant. Validation of the diploma is necessary for graduates of a foreign university.

In addition to focusing on general ethical and political problems, students are also encouraged to study current and relevant topics, such as attitudes towards marginalised groups and topics including populism, nationalism, religious conflict, and climate change.
