Transport Technology and Control

What will you learn?

As a successful graduate of our three-year undergraduate study, you will gain the latest knowledge and skills in transport management and technology and in logistics technologies - both theoretical and practical. You will apply this knowledge in all types of freight transport and in forwarding services and logistics, including combined transport. You will also apply it in passenger transport, including integrated transport systems.

Linking theory to practice

You will be able to apply your knowledge in the practical part of lessons, which our faculty will provide you in the form of field trips, internships and research fellowships in one of the many partner companies. In addition, lessons take place in specialised classrooms and in our own fully equipped transport hall. The lecturers will also be experts from practice. During your studies, you can obtain professional certification to be a train dispatcher and controller. You will be prepared for professional competence exams to operate road transport for other entities' needs at the transport office.

Career

You will mainly find employment and career opportunities:

• in transport-oriented companies (e.g. as transport dispatcher, system specialist, transport technologist, transport coordinator),
• in forwarding and logistics companies,
• in the management and planning of the transport system in state administration, e.g. in the competence department of transport authorities,
• as a transport operator (rail or road),
• in the management of technological transport processes in companies engaged in non-transport activities.
