What will you learn?

Students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge and skills that are needed in solving issues of construction of the mechanical part of vehicles. Through compulsory-optional blocks of courses, students choose to focus on either rail or road vehicles. Graduates will be prepared for independent professional activities according to the current state of knowledge in the industry, which is constantly developing and improving means of transport for people and cargo.

Linking theory to practice

Important aspects of the study include field trips and experts from practice teaching lessons of professional courses. Master's theses are usually assigned in cooperation with companies and organisations operating in the transport industry. Students can also participate in research activities related to the content of the study programme.

Career

Graduates can hold higher technical positions in companies engaged in the development, design, manufacture and reconstruction of road or rail vehicles. They can also be employed in testing, research or in vocational or higher education, and are ready for doctoral studies with a similar focus.

Tuition fees

In the case of standard study, study is not paid. If you study for more than 3 years, you pay for the first started 6 months CZK 15 000

Full-time study

Full-time study has a fixed schedule Monday through Thursday. In this form of study you can enjoy benefits such as scholarships, discounts for transport, etc. Full-time study is not limited by age.
