What will you learn?
Studying Analysis of Biological Materials, you will acquire knowledge of classical chemical disciplines such as general, inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry. Our teaching, however, also includes general subjects such as mathematics and physics. Specialised disciplines such as biology, basics of anatomy and histology, genetics, microbiology, immunology and toxicology will provide you with not only theoretical, but above all practical skills that you will gain through laboratory and professional practice.
Your career prospects
Successful completion of Analysis of Biological Materials will allow you to work in various types of clinical laboratories focused on, for example, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, haematology and toxicology. This means that you will be able to control all the work involved in collecting, processing, storing and analysing biological materials. With sufficient knowledge of computer and laboratory techniques, you will become a real professional in this field.
