What will we teach you?

By studying the English language, you will be equipped with the necessary level of communication skills in spoken language and written expression. You will gain valuable information in the fields of linguistics, literature and culture, and theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of professional translation. You will also get acquainted with the basics of economic and administrative disciplines so that you can work with thematically focused texts.

The Philosophy study programme will expand your knowledge related to classical philosophical topics, and thus develop your systematic thinking, working with professional sources and critical thinking.

What will you become?

Upon successful completion of the branch of study, you will find employment opportunities in national and regional government bodies, private foreign companies, commercial companies and translation agencies. Due to the combination with philosophy, you will gain a general insight and partial knowledge of education and more detailed knowledge of school policy and school management. Other employment opportunities are therefore related to educational activities or work in non-profit organisations.

What do the entrance exams involve?

Entrance exams are cancelled. The form and conditions of the admission procedure and the method of evaluation are identical to the English language study programme with specialisations. Only applicants who obtain at least 55 points can be admitted to the study.

Applicants are required to submit the following as an attachment to the e-application by April 20, 2021:

  1. scanned copies of school reports from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the secondary school from both semesters in pdf format, OR a copy of a language exam certificate at least at level B2 or higher, included in the list of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports available  here. Do not send certificates other than those listed.
The certificate replaces the school report. Provide a copy of the certificate in pdf format.
  2. link to motivational video monologue according to the set conditions.
